After a shockingly good first season, most Bee’s fans would have been dissapointed with last season. After losing out in the play-offs, Brentford lost Mark Warburton to Rangers, and their gamble bringing in a foreign manager didn’t pay off, which significantly cost them. The appointment of Dean Smith steadied the ship, but it wasn’t til the last third of the season, Brentford look like the team from the season before. If they can replicate what they did in the final 2 months within the first 10 games of this season, they could well be in or around the play-offs come May. However, like Birmingham there are a handful of better teams and think they will have to settle for a mid-table finish.

Last Season’s Finish; 9th

Predicted Finish; 12th
