After going 21 games unbeaten at the start of the season, setting a new league and club record in the process, Brighton couldn’t finish the job off, and narrowly missed for out on promotion to the Premier League. Drawing with Middlesbrough on the final game of the season saw their automatic promotion hopes vanish, while losing over 2 legs to Sheffield Wednesday meant they couldn’t even enjoy a day out at Wembley. But, with their failure last season, they will be a team earmarked as “one of the teams to beat” and should expect themselves to be close to the top come the end of May. Keeping hold of the likes of Beram Kayal, Dale Stephens, Knockaert and Lewis Dunk are all pivotal to a promotion chase, as well as strengthening in weak areas like at fullback and forwards.

Last Season’s Finish; 3rd

Predicted Finish; 4th

Would be slightly biased if I said we would get promoted, when there are easily 3/4 teams who are better or equally as good as us. Will be the hardest season ever easily
