Burnley were looking to consolidate their Premier League status for the first time, after being relegated straight back down the previous 2 times they have achieved promotion to the Premier League. A large amount of their 16th place success was their home form, where they lost just 6 games and won 10 times, including scalps against Liverpool, Everton and a draw against champions Chelsea. On the contrary, their away from was completely shocking, winning only once on the road and that was in April against Crystal Palace. Fans of Burnley will be hoping they can at least get 2 away wins on the board this year, otherwise they could face the drop.
