After a superb season prior to last, West Ham's fortunes turned sour after a disappointing season. 5 defeats in their first 6 games, and just 3 wins in their first 15 saw them a couple point above the relegation places with fans booing players and manager throughout home games. A 3 game win streak saw them move up the table, but the second half of the season was much the same with bruising defeats to rivals Chelsea, Bournmouth, Arsenal and Man City in the F.A Cup. They did have a good end to the season, losing just once in the final 6, and finished a respectable 11th considering they were around the bottom 3 for much of the season. With some shrewd signing this summer, West Ham will be looking to head back to Europe, and become a driving force once again, and with signings like Hernandez, Zabaleta and Arnautovic WEst Ham will be a tough nut to crack.
